Nuria’s images capture more than the “decisive moment”. Her photographs are presented in the form of short stories, maintaining the intimacy of what they document: never fully told, and without the “theatrics” of staging. They are a bit like dreams that always leave us with space ask for interpretation. Nuria grew up among whales, sea, dunes and salt, in Baja California Sur, Mexico and studied Art History at Casa Lamm and photography in Mexico City and Paris. She photographed the book “Alejandro Ruiz Cocina de Oaxaca” (Sicomoro Editorial, 2018). She was part of the collective exhibition “Fotógrafos por el mundo” (Latitud Galery, CDMX, 2018). Nuria collaborates for different magazines and photographs portraits, interior design, events and food.
